What an unforgettable experience competing and landing on the podium at the @gridlifeofficial Track Battle at the legendary @weathertechraceway . The pressure is real when you’re on live TV with cameras, broadcasters, and the entire track watching as you’ve got just two laps to lock in a competitive time. Big shoutout to my friends and family who tuned in on their big screens to watch me push the limits in a mostly stock car.
Although I couldn’t achieve my optimal lap of 1:39.58 on used A052s in the afternoon heat, we secured 🥈 and are holding onto 2nd place overall in the FCP Pacific Championship heading into the final event of the season.
Now say it with me, “STOP BRINGING USED TIRES TO GRIDLIFE EVENTS!” 😅

Ha Giang Loop: Day 3 & 4 🇻🇳
Still trying to process how surreal this has been. Most people hire professional riders and ride as passengers… we said “naw we’ll drive” like pacific coast highway prepared us for this lol.
Narrow cliffside roads, local villages, and zero room for mistakes 👀. Just a cliff on one side, mountain on the other, and about 24 inches of road in between.
Huge shoutout to the best in the business @hagianglooper and our hero/new friend Frank, for guiding us through some of the wildest hidden trails out here. Easily one of the raddest experiences of my life.

It’s officially three months post hip surgery 👀. I’m not quite 100 percent yet, but I’m running again, back to racing cars, going on motorcycle rides, doing yoga, and logged HUNDREDS of rehab miles on the stationary bike.
So what happened? A hip arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgery used to repair damage inside the hip joint like a torn labrum or bone impingement. In my case, two labral tears and excess calcium deposits on the femoral head were causing years of “knee pain” that actually started in my hip.
I took a leap of faith and connected with an incredible orthopedic surgeon, @prem_ramkumar , to avoid a full hip replacement in my 30s and keep chasing my goals to stay active/continue hitting PRs well into my later years. I had thought that the pain I was experiencing in my knee was a permanent result of extreme sports and felt helpless at times. I never would have imagined that my hip was the culprit of my issues, but Dr. Ramkumar explained exactly what was happening in my body and how this commonly undiagnosed injury affected my lower back and knees. I had a choice to act now or potentially risk irreversible damage down the road. Scary, but ZERO REGRETS.
If something feels off and won’t heal, listen to your body and get the right opinion. It can change everything! ALWAYS INVEST IN YOUR HEALTH 💪🏼
