Last year I had the opportunity to work on the sound design for the animated horror short „Tuifl“ by @adina.barth and I had an absolute blast.
Amongst me in the sound team was @jonathan_dngs who joined in on a recording trip to South Tyrol and finalized the mix. Thank you so much for that!
We were a team of people that don‘t like horror movies trying to scare the ones that do. And I hope we succeded in that! Addy surely got scared by her own film a lot :D
The short just had its premiere at the 26th Landshuter Filmtage.
Last year I had the chance to record and mix the amazing Lukas Wögler Quartet‘s live album at Jazzkeller Esslingen.
I have known the band for many years, seen many of their shows and the bassist Erik is one of my closest friends. It was amazing that I could be a part of capturing this intense evening at a location as beautiful as the Jazzkeller. I hope you can enjoy it as much as the audience and I did that day now that it is out.

Ein Song, der sechs Jahre lang gereift ist und nun endlich das Licht der Welt erblickt. Von einer leisen Singer-Songwriter-Skizze hat er sich zu einem vollständigen Bandtrack entwickelt. "Nescience“ erzählt von Unwissenheit, Hoffnung und dem Versuch, den eigenen Weg zu finden, auch wenn man nicht immer genau weiß, wohin er tatsächlich führt.

A song that has been maturing for six years and is finally seeing the light of day. It has developed from a quiet singer-songwriter sketch into a complete band track. “Nescience” tells of ignorance, hope, and the attempt to find one's own path, even if one does not always know exactly where it actually leads.
