I was honored to have Christine Capacillo, Director of Alumni Relations at @summersearchbayarea ask me to speak at this year’s Beyond Limits event. I had the opportunity to share how impactful mentorship has been in my college journey all the way to running my business with Lujune teas! It was a beautiful fundraising event where over $70k was raised to continue to support first generation students walk the stage and beyond!

🍵 My name is Carol and I am the founder and owner of @lujuneteas
🍵 I launched this business in December 2021 because I was sick of depending on pills to alleviate my pain during my menstrual cycles
🍵 I dove in heart first to the world of herbalism in 2020 and created my first blend Mother’s Comfort to help myself and others during that time of the month
🍵 My company is named after my late mother’s middle name to honor her legacy for years to come. I named the first blend Mother’s Comfort because that’s the feeling I crave and experience when I take a sip; warm, safe, and comforting.
🍵 Since 2021, I’ve vended at numerous events throughout the Bay Area
🍵 My tea is sold IRL at @momsterasj in Campbell and @terraandself in Santa Cruz. If you’re ever at either, tag us!
