I’m still kind of at a loss for words with your wedding, guys. Thank you for having me.
From the beginning, they wanted something unconventional and intimate, with that film-like, indie romantic feel, and they really stayed true to it.
It was just 40 of their closest people. Everything felt close, honest, and unforced.
The day moved at its own pace. A little direction here and there, but mostly no pressure to perform. Just real moments, good energy, and those quiet, cinematic feels that stayed with us the whole time.
I’m really still not over it, and there’s still more to come!
Grateful I got to be there and witness it as it was.

My brother @sergio_antonio86 eloped with the coolest @lucianuechter !
During their first dates, they traveled to Galiano Island, wrote notes for each other, and hid them inside a bottle in the middle of the forest. Time went by and they re-visited the place only to find out he had come back and added an amendment to his original message: “Will you marry me?”
Months later, they got married in the same spot where they hid the bottle…
Thank you, brother and (now) sister for allowing me to witness and document this amazing day. When you smile, I smile :)

MAKE IT PERSONAL. KEEP IT REAL.
My grandad carried his camera everywhere he went. Because of him, I was just a kid when I first saw footage of my mom, aunts, and uncles being my age. Something about them “behaving just like me” stuck. They weren’t the strict, stiff grown-ups I thought of — they could’ve even been my friends. In those videos I saw myself in them. I saw them play, fall, and cry. I saw them real and raw.
Sure, grandad probably set up a few scenes, but he let people unfold as they were, always ready to press the shutter. As a wedding photographer, honoring that vision is my way of thanking him and paying tribute to his efforts.
Thanks, Grandad. You have no idea how much you’ve shaped my work, other people’s weddings, and their lives.
