Over a year ago, I designed a custom-lettered wordmark for a comic book idea that comic book artist (and absolute hottie) @lukapiz was pitching with writer @fredvanlente
I was working a corporate job at the time, and this was such a great change of pace where nothing had to work as part of a system, nothing had to be historically accurate, i could just lean in to the gothic vibes and have fun! So i did indeed have fun, with POINTY BITS and WEIRD SPACING and GOTHIC CROSSBARS and CUT OUTS and BLOODY PUNCTUATION!!!
Anyway, the pitch got picked up by @boom_studios and the book just got announced today!!! Woohoo!!
