The book “Born to Run” came out in May 2009 and has been having an impact on readers and runners ever since. What you may not know is that the story is actually based on the original journey down to the Copper Canyons in the 2006 when Caballo Blanco invited the cast of characters to be part of the race that became the base story of the book.
This past March marked the 20th anniversary of the race that inspired the book and likely inspired you. So to pay homage, we brought together most of the original crew from 2006 including @sheltonjenn , @billy_b_bigisland , @borntoruncoach , @barefoot_ted , @luis_escobar , and the author himself @chrismcdougallauthor to chat about how that event impacted them and what the have been up to since 2006.
