I met
@ludwigbrix when I first arrived in Berlin â he was the first friend I made there. I actually got to know him because I needed a room, and there was one available in his apartment. He was away on vacation at the time, so I moved in before we even met. The first time I saw him, he had just come back from his trip. I opened the door for him as he arrived with his girlfriend at the time. My first impression wasnât anything extraordinary, but it was good â warm, easy, natural. As the days went by, I found a job and we started spending more and more time together. One thing I remember clearly is how much he loved giving hugs. We talked a lot; he would always ask me how my day had been, what I had done, and he genuinely cared about the answers. Little by little, he became my companion in everything â my partner in crime, my laughing partner. Wherever we went, whether it was a party or a gathering, we were usually the two of us laughing about anything. We shared the same sense of humor and felt like accomplices in our own little world of jokes. We began sharing all kinds of moments â doing yoga together, skating around the city, even taking a spinning class once. We played ping pong and always laughed endlessly. He connected deeply with photography too, since I always had my camera with me. We went to the theater, dressed up in costumes, went out partying â honestly, we did a bit of everything together. Ludo became my best friend in Berlin. He became like a brother to me, and I enjoyed every moment of it. Winters in Berlin are tough â only people who have lived through them truly understand â and mine was especially hard. But thanks to people like Ludo, it became much easier, much more bearable. Because of people like him, Berlin turned into my second home â and it still is. I still think about going back everytime. I value his friendship deeply. I learned so much from him, and he truly opened my mind in many ways. We had great conversations and shared incredible experiences, and the person I am today was shaped in many ways by that friendship. Even though life takes us different ways, I carry our memories with me wherever I go.
