Been stuck in a wheelchair for MONTHS so it feels amazing to be upright again.
I need to be careful with my Physio and Rehab, and it will be slow… but this is a great moment and I appreciate it for however long it lasts 🦿💪🏼❤️

I cannot thank the beautiful soul Deb Smith enough for Forest Stump’s new fancy dress outfit / Warmie sock!
I know I shouldn’t HAVE to cover him up, and I know I SHOULDN’T be embarrassed to have him on show, but sometimes I just am 🤷♀️
When I’m unable to wear a prosthetic (which currently is now going into month 5 now thanks to all the surgeries this last year) and all my clothes are already cut to fit the prosthesis’, he is always on show and the stares are too much sometimes… im sure there are people who think anyone with this hair must want to be stared at but no, its the colour ive had for 20 years and i dont feel like me without It.
Nobody likes feeling like a freak….
I’m still getting used to it too and I know it’s curiosity, I’ll always talk to people who are genuine and kind about it, but the stares are a lot.
So I hope everyone enjoys staring at this as much as I do, because it has brought me SO. MUCH. JOY!!!

APC appreciation post: SHINY NEW LEG ALERT!
Every time I think the gang at APC Alexandria can’t possibly exceed my expectations any more, they’ve only gone and done it AGAIN!!
Of course I’ve added my own flare* (*tacky bling, mostly from Temu) but special mention MUST go to Gavin Shnier for being an absolute legend, and not only adding spikes to my thigh lacer as requested, painstakingly sawing down screws to individually place them, even going so far as to put some on my Docs so my shoes match my leg!
This went way above and beyond and is sincerely appreciated ❤️
This journey can be a real downward spiral the majority of the time, but having health providers like APC and Gavin, Charles, Marta, Manu and the whole team, who work with you and not against you make the process so much easier.
