I used to work at Whittier International Elementary. This is the playground where my students would run and scream with joy, but yesterday, in sub zero temps, it was filled with thousands of people forced to scream for help for our community. A community member was abducted by ICE last week around the corner from the school. Border patrol murdered Alex Jeffrey Pretti just a few blocks away.
