La Casa del Padel was born from a shared desire to bring padel – and its culture – to Kansas City, and its story begins in the changing rooms (or is it “locker room” in the US?). Six professional footballers formed a close bond while playing for Sporting Kansas City, discovering padel together as a new way to compete, connect, and unwind off the field.
That shared passion turned into a business partnership. Former teammates @luckylefty_15 , @afontas3 , @urirosell , Johnny Russell, @danielsalloi , @gzusi joined forces with engineer Jamie Mahoney to launch La Casa del Padel – bringing the sport they love to a city ready for something new.
As the first padel club in Kansas City, La Casa occupies a special place in the region’s sporting landscape. Its partnership with Overland Park Racquet Club has allowed padel to be introduced within an established racquet-sport community, while also extending far beyond traditional tennis audiences.
This approach has created an inclusive environment where experienced racquet-sport players and complete newcomers alike can discover padel, laying the foundations for long-term growth and excitement around the game …

APC Thanksgiving Camp !!!
Our first camp in our brand new facility is less than 2 months away. Our camps are always the perfect combination of performance, game-situation and skill development training.
Our international staff will work each day with two groups of 20 players at two separate time slots of 90 minutes:
- 9am-10:30am
- 10:30am-12pm

Always connect the drills to the context of the game. The higher you level up in soccer, your deeper understanding of the situations and your problem solving will make you a game-changer, not performing thousands of empty reps at 2 mph.
