Vinyl- Type O Negative is always a go to (this album holds a special space for me), Marilyn Manson’s ‘Eat me Drink me’ is a nice mix of goth/glam that became a favorite, Hammock delivers another hefty dose of shoegaze/wall of sound atmosphere, Lords Of Acid return and yep still horny, and I finally got a copy of Stabbing Westward’s ‘Wither Blister’ (Y E S)
CDs - clipping’s ‘Visions of Bodies Being Burned’ is a must hear if you enjoy intelligent lyrics in the hip hop realm (also a heavy dose of noise experimentation so be warned), C/A/T’s megamix is still awesome (biased having 5 of my remixes included next to Sinsect, Captive Six and more), Consolidated took me right back to my youth and practically living at all ages venues (chef kiss), Horrorpops is a time capsule to late 2000s with its brand of psychobilly, and Oleander surprised me by still being a decent album after all this time #weekly #music #vinyl #cd #stabbingwestward

Vinyl- the incredible Damage Manual pressing from Martin Atkins and Co (LOVE), finally got the Stabbing Westward debut (personal favorite), Vinyl soundtrack is a solid listen, Gary Numan is a must have for me that honestly I’ve been sleeping on, Massive Attack always delivers smooth smoky trip hop, and GNR is my entire childhood ❤️
CDs- love this album from the industrial supergroup Hellbent (16 volt, chemlab etc), Drug Test 3 is another incredible addition to the series bouncing between dnb/industrial/experimental, Strvngers hits the mark for me on this release reminding me of Jonathan Davis meets synthwave/post punk on a couple tracks, Meg Lee Chin will always have a home in my collection, Witchman vs Jammin Unit is a strangle satisfying amalgamation of electro industrial/dub/funk (I hope that makes sense), and Veruca Salt is a staple in my car collection

Vinyl- Smashing Pumpkins always delivers and 2024’s ‘Aghori Mhori Mei’ is no exception, finally have Danzig 4 plus 777 Luciferi and I’m a happy camper, Hammock deliver a 2 LP of oceans of shoegaze with storms of distortion with ‘Love In The Void’, this Hillbilly Moon Explosion collection with Sparky of Demented Are Go is a balance of grit and silk wrapped in rockabilly *chef kiss*, ‘Death Magic’ from Health is exactly what I want from Health, and El-P’s ‘Cancer 4 Cure’ is a warm up for future Run The Jewels and is a no skip start to finish.
CDs- Depeche Mode’s ‘Ultra’ is peak material for me with ‘it’s no good’ and ‘barrel of a gun’, Cradle Of Thorns is the early version of the band Videodrone that would join Korn’s Elementree label ( the album is rough around the edges but has some solid gems), Mudvayne’s ‘LD50’ is my favorite release start to finish from the band with its vocal assault and constant time signature changes, Front 242’s ‘Up Evil’ is THE album that hooked me with incredible catchy industrial tunes (the album is poorly mixed but still shines like a diamond and I wish it’d get a remaster/reissue), and Tricky ‘Pre Millennium Tension’ is pure clouds of smoke nostalgia for me (PERIOD) and everyone should check this album out at least once.
