@camperlab Fall Winter 26
For Fall Winter 26, CamperLab closed a chapter under Achilles Ion Gabriel, delivering a collection shaped by memory, climate, and friction. Drawing from the polar winters of Lapland, the work leaned into abrasion rather than polish: distressed leathers, waxed cotton, heavy wools, and dirt-marked denim built a vocabulary of deliberate roughness. The set mirrored that tension, raw wood beneath a monumental circular curtain, reinforcing a mood where isolation and stark beauty coexist.
Casting focused on presence over perfection, with gender-free silhouettes styled intuitively to each wearer. Outerwear felt weathered and protective, while accessories sharpened the narrative: compact bags with oversized metal hardware and footwear pushed to extremes. Long, pointed shoes introduced an unexpected formality against oversized, worn garments, amplifying contrast.
