What a weekend!
On 29 and 30 November 2025, we had the great honour and privilege of performing one of the most iconic works of the Baroque choral repertoire: Johann Sebastian Bach’s Mass in B minor, in the beautiful Notre Dame du Sacré Cœur church in Etterbeek, Brussels.
We had such a nice connection with our 2x400 people public, the soloists and the orchestra. Magic !
But it wasn’t just a weekend. It was six months of intense preparation, fear, and determination. We did it !
Together, we climbed this Everest of choral singing, and we’ve come out stronger for it.
A huge thanks to our conductor @letsfob , our great orchestra, our talented soloists @edilsa_samanez , @crea_tive_kat_ , @denzildelaere , @jantus_w , @lucascortoos !

🌟🌞Zoon van de Zon - Broder 🌞🌟
Op 15 november 2025 kwam Jean-Baptiste Lully tot leven door @broder.muziektheater@arca.theater veranderde in het paleis van Versailles dankzij het schitterende decor van @janaroos_creations waar de muziek van de favoriete hofcomponist van Louis XIV naast die andere geniale toondichter @peterpeterspaepen.be mocht weerklinken. Het werd een briljant totaalspektakel in een ontroerende regie van @koenboesman met ballet, zang en toneelspel tesaam met:
@dries_vanhegen als onnavolgbare Jean-Baptiste Lully 👑
@pieterdepraetere.countertenor als ongeëvenaarde nachtegaal 🐦⬛
@elisabethdeloore als ongelooflijke klaveciniste 🎹
Ikzelf als onwaarschijnlijk gelukkige artiest, omdat ik met al deze mensen een topvoorstelling heb mogen creëren 🌟
Dit seizoen nog mee te maken in Wetteren, Asse en Turnhout, volgend seizoen op tournee.

Opera Present organized a masterclass for young promising singers from August 25 to 30 at the Château de Steinbach in Gouvy. Our eight participants received vocal lessons from Angélique Noldus with piano accompaniment by Vincent Van Audenhove, theatre coachings by Maria Chagina, Shiatsu and relaxation exercises by Lieselotte Cortoos, and a crash course in cultural management by Tom Van Bogaert.
