The other day in Andiast, where @lost_in_lona spent three days on an amazing band retreat. Here's @catee.tang and myself having a quick jam involving my ridiculous brooms. They feel great to play with, though.

Starting when I was a young boy, he used to take me to many concerts of all sorts of bands, thus contributing heavily to my musical upbringing. How great to relive this old habit!

I bought this Pre-Split Istanbul 20" Flat Ride (probably from the late nineties..?) from @gregor_boomless around 10 years ago, when I was still his student. Recently, I woke it from its slumber in my cymbal case and took it to master @michael.paiste to get it lathed, quite rigorously so.
It is now finally the cymbal I always wanted it to be! Thank you so much, Michael!

💫Flashback💫 One year ago, @lukeleloup was honored to play at the 2022 Poppreis Basel Award Ceremony.
I was asked to produce and perform remixes of one of each of the four nominees' songs. What a fun and prestigious opportunity this was!
With music by amazing artists @annaaaronmusic , @sam.himself@mehmetaslan_ and award-winning @la_nefera I was lucky to choose from four absolutely gorgeous repertoires, a musical gourmet banquet. I am still super thankful for these musicians trusting me with the precious stem tracks of their songs, so I could get creative. Thank you!
Warmest shoutouts of course go to @sebastian_sebkomtech for asking me to play at the show, @musikbuerobasel for a wonderful night, @gannet.lv for hosting and @schwifi , @somaticrituals as well as @okracollective for totally tearing down the roof with their sets.

Friday's gig with @lost_in_lona was super fine. I love cosy stages like the one at @zumhinterenhecht in Winterthur. Thank you for having us!
As always, I had the greatest of times with the gang – it's always luvlay travelling, hanging and playing with The Lonas.
The gig marks the beginning of a break I'll be taking from playing live. With my girlfriend continuing to work full time after maternity leave, the place where I'm most needed is at home with my two wonderful children, supporting the fam 💙 also, figuring out how to navigate this new situation will take us some time. I'll get back to playing gigs in 2024!
Thanks to all of you coming round to shows and being interested in what I do, it's not something I take for granted. Stay safe!
Remembering last sunday's concert we got to play with @lost_in_lona at @odeon_brugg , definitely one of the most enchanting summer locations in switzerland. Absolutely worth coming back to!

I've been so very fortunate to play an awesome set of shows and be part of fantastic releases throughout 2022, alongside many wonderful human beings.
