Just days before Maverick received his Leukemia diagnosis, he insisted on seeing his favorite band @fallinginreverse on their Popular MonsTOUR. That night became one of his last moments before everything in his life changed. Since then, @RonnieRonnieRadke ’s music has been his anchor as he goes through his cancer treatment.
When Ronnie learned about his story, he invited him to be his special guest at @vanswarpedtour . Maverick got to hang out backstage with him, get his autograph, and even got to end Falling In Reverse’s headlining set by joining the band ON STAGE to say goodnight. At the end of his Dream Day Maverick said, “That’s my friend now.”

During their meet and greet when he learned her favorite song “Mess” wasn’t on the setlist, he surprised her with a private acoustic performance backstage! Battling Stage 4 Cancer, Jessyca has turned to music to get her through the hardest parts of life. Her weekend felt straight out of a movie, from her unforgettable experience with @lambofgod to hanging backstage with @bringmethehorizon , @sleepingwithsirens , @wakaflocka and @alexterribleofficial . For a little while, Jessyca was able to forget all she’s going through and feel like the rockstar she is.

When Randy heard Jessyca’s family shaved their heads in solidarity with her after starting chemo for Stage 4 Breast Cancer, he decided right then and there to let her shave his head. A beautiful moment reminding us all that music is a community that shows up for one another in life’s hardest moments.

Meet Jessyca, a single mother courageously battling Stage 4 Breast Cancer. Despite living with pain every day, she fights for her son and family. For her Dream Day at @WelcomeToRockville she got to hang backstage with @LambOfGod ’s Randy Blythe.
After hearing that both Jessyca and Kody shaved their heads together when she began chemotherapy, Randy offered to let Jessyca shave his head in solidarity - a moment they will never forget.
To end the night she hung out side stage, where Randy gave a heartfelt shoutout and led the crowd in a powerful chant of “F*CK CANCER” in her honor.
