Setup No. 06 for the @miscellaneaetc shop AND there has been some major progress on our e-commerce store. We’ll also take a moment and thank the Mohair Gods for providing yet another mohair sofa at just the right time to make it into our new setup!
These posts have become such an exciting moment for us because with each new setup, it feels like there is an even more exciting moment happening in the background for the business. For us, it’s been all the progress on our website. Available now for purchase is mostly everything you see in these photos! Some of these pieces came into our possession only days ago 😵💫.

Setup No. 05 for the @miscellaneaetc shop AND our first ever public hours for The Annex was a beautiful, overwhelming moment for us. We really worked for this one! Such good finds across both of our locations.
Our showroom features some really special new arrivals — like that stunning 96” mohair sofa. It also marks a special moment for us at Miscellanea as we’re finally bringing you freshly reupholstered accent seating (featuring The Vintage Art Deco Side Chair).
At The Annex, we have much to discover and even some rare pieces of furniture, like our 1920/30’s Andre Domin Coffee Table.

JANUARY 10, 2026 — Miscellanea, The Annex is open to shop. No appointment necessary.
The Annex builds on our mission to make curated, one-of-a-kind design attainable. It’s a space where you can explore our entire inventory, with more vintage furniture, art, and decor in addition to our Andersonville Showroom.
After countless conversations in the shop, we’ve heard that you want to see more, and Miscellanea, The Annex brings you just that. Open for walk ins one weekend a month, and by appointment any time, just ten minutes away from our showroom in Ravenswood.
Setup No. 04 for the @miscellaneaetc shop and it’s packed with some really special pieces. 1930’s art deco chairs in their original upholstery. An incredible Art Deco console and mirror combo. And so…so much more.
We’re so grateful to bring you a new setup for the month on November.

Setup No. 03 for the @miscellaneaetc shop. “Le Gallerie”, a showcase of the wide range of the vintage art and art objects we’ve been curating over the years.
Both Lauren and Myself are so thrilled to be in a position to continually reimagine our space, create new moments that surprise our customers and of course, make beautiful photography.

Setup No. 02 for the @miscellaneaetc shop. This one, an almost completely new store experience. New layout, new furniture, new decor & a transitional fall wardrobe refresh. A showcase of some of Lauren’s most recent incredible finds — like this Henredon ‘Scene Two’ bar Cabinet in a stunning maple burl. A piece that’s both beautiful but design with true intent.
Both Lauren and myself are astounded by the warm welcome and enthusiastic embrace of what we’re putting together. Connecting with you all in-store is why we do what we do. Each customer has been a delight and keeps us inspired to continue to find pieces we think you just can’t live without.

@miscellaneaetc is finally live! This weekend we officially opened our showroom, and our online shop is launching in a few weeks! After years of planning and collecting, it’s been an absolute dream to bring it to life in a physical space. Huge, huge thank you to all of our family and friends for their support, manual labor, and love ❤️
2025 has been a big one so far…
After five years of dreaming, scheming, collecting, sourcing, and searching, @miscellaneaetc is finally out in the world! This one has been a long time coming. After moving to Chicago, I found the perfect spot on Clark to bring the full idea- vintage furniture, decor, clothing, and jewelry- to life. A second floor space that feels like an apartment and offers a curated collection that’s easy to shop and is reasonably priced. A huge, giant, massive thank you to all the support from friends, family, and the creative community to get this up and running 🤍
2025 has been a big one so far…
@bymichaeldruce and I moved to Chicago and renovated an apartment. More photos to come (of course), but here is some of the process. A huge shout out to Michael for doing so much of the work himself 🤍 there’s no one I’d rather co-design and co-create with.
