This means getting to college is about to get even easier, with up to 9 trains an hour and direct connections to London, Birmingham, Stansted Airport and international rail via St Pancras ๐
Itโs also a huge step forward for opening up education and future work opportunities across the East of England โ making Long Road more accessible than ever for young people across the region.

We're excited to announce that the Long Road Netball Team are officially **Top 10 in the country**, finishing 9th at Nationals on their very first appearance! ๐ฅ๐ช
From making history at Regionals to taking on the best in the nation, the team gave it everything - showing incredible determination, teamwork and passion, and finishing with a huge 35โ13 win ๐

Last week, our community came together to mark the securing of Tiger Pass funding for 2026โ27 โ keeping ยฃ1 journeys in place for over 60,000 young people ๐
Weโre especially proud of our students ๐
From sharing their experiences to working with partners and engaging decision-makers, their leadership played a key role in protecting the scheme and highlighting why affordable transport matters. Because of their efforts, more young people can continue to access education ๐, work ๐ผ, and opportunities across the region.
The journey doesnโt stop here. We are continuing to drive this campaign forward - pushing for long-term funding and wider access so no young person is left behind. ๐
