LPB is excited to announce LA64, a new original series embarking on a five-year initiative to explore every corner of our great state! Premiering February 2026, LA64 spotlights each Louisiana parish, uncovering its culture, customs, cuisine, festivals, folklore, and hidden attractions that define Louisiana’s identity. Rather than focusing on well-known tourist destinations, LA64 travels off the interstates and beyond the expected locations, shining a light on communities, culture bearers, and local stories that often go untold. Hosted by Karen LeBlanc, a Louisiana native and seasoned travel journalist. As a signature part of LPB’s 50th Anniversary celebration, LA64 reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to telling Louisiana stories — from the largest cities to the smallest towns. Stay tuned for dates and times... only on LPB! lpb.org/la64 #LA64 Special thanks to: @explore.louisiana @lastateparks @discoverlouisianatravel #LPB50 #LPB #ExploreLouisiana #OnlyLouisiana #SeriesPremiere

Attendees also loved the Italian cookies from @cannatellagrocery ! If you haven’t been to an international grocery store lately, there are wonderful discoveries and specialty items awaiting you! Thank you @manshiptheatre and @independentlens - LPB’s partners for this free and fun community event; Maddie Scott, Food Writer for The Advocate, for moderating the discussion; and Deaf Focus for providing ASL interpreters. #LPB #IndieLensPBS #ManshipTheatre #TheGroceryListShow #internationalgroceries
