Nobody saw the early mornings, the assignments written in the quiet hours while my son slept with the crazy deadlines .
The question I sat with more times than I can count ,should I even be doing this? A family to nurture. A job still being searched for. There were reasons to step back, and somehow, not enough to walk away.
And then my laptop crashed right in the middle of my thesis. The anxiety and tears yet I had to keep going because by that point, I had come too far to stop.
MA. Done. Thesis grade: A. 🎓🥰
I didn’t have a clear path ahead. I simply made a decision once, and gently kept making it every single day through stolen hours, tired nights and early mornings that belonged only to me.
To my husband Larry thank you for holding everything together when I couldn’t, for believing in me even when I doubted myself 😍❤️😍
To my son JJ you are the reason I kept going. Every single morning, it was you. 💛
To my entire family your love carried me further than you will ever know.
Special thanks to my Supervisor Dr. Bossman for the patience and support 🙏🏽.
This belongs to all of us.
