We are grateful to everyone who spent the day with us, and especially thankful to Mr. Ooi Kok Chuen for graciously officiating the opening. Surrounded by paintings and sculptures shaped through decades of devotion to art, the gathering became more than an exhibition opening; it was a shared reflection on the enduring presence of care and tenderness in our lives.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening of 母 Bu, the solo exhibition by 王耀麟 Heng Eow Lin.
We are deeply honoured by the presence of our opening guest, Mr. Ooi Kok Chuen, alongside collectors, friends, artists, and visitors who came to celebrate this meaningful occasion with us in conjunction with Mother’s Day.
Through paintings and sculptures shaped by decades of artistic devotion, 母 Bu reflects on love, care, memory, and the quiet strength carried within maternal presence. The warmth shared throughout the opening reminded us that these emotions continue to connect us across generations.

In conjunction with Mother’s Day this May, O Sculpture Art Space is pleased to present 母 Bu, a solo exhibition by Heng Eow Lin.
“母” is among the first words we learn, and often the deepest we carry. This exhibition brings together the artist’s long-standing exploration of love, beauty, and human connection, expressed through both painting and sculpture.
Born in 1946 and trained at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Heng has devoted decades to his artistic practice. Shaped by years of travel and observation across cultures, his works reflect a personal yet universal understanding of care, memory, and the passage of life. In this exhibition, the idea of “mother” extends beyond form—it becomes a quiet presence, a source of strength, and a reflection of the values that shape us.
Through gentle forms and expressive colour, the works speak of tenderness and resilience, inviting viewers to pause and reflect on their own relationships with love, origin, and belonging.
