Originally from San Diego, California, I relocated to Charlotte, NC during my middle school years. After my time serving in the Air Force with postings in Texas, Montana, and Germany, I followed my passion for doing hair.
In 2015, I graduated from The Aveda Institute, where I honed my skills and developed my craft. Seeking to expand my knowledge and techniques, I attended the renowned Schorem, The Old School Barber Academy in Rotterdam, Netherlands, for an intensive week-long course. This experience further enriched my understanding of classic barbering and refined my abilities.
Throughout my career, my primary focus has always been on delivering exceptional classic short cuts. I have a keen eye for detail and a mastery of using both clippers and scissors to achieve precision and perfection. Before founding Lowbrow Salon, I gained valuable experience working at Arrow and Atomic Salon, both located in downtown Raleigh, NC.
In addition to my passion for barbering, I am also a connoisseur of hot rods, old vans, and choppers. Beyond my love for vintage rides, I also have a strong desire to explore the world and travel to as many places as possible. Experiencing different cultures and landscapes fuels my creativity and enriches my perspective, which ultimately influences my approach to giving you the best hair cut possible.
