To watch a fish dart out from cover at distance, track the bait down and eat it is something that never gets old. I’ve spent a lot of time watching Ceaser’s Rat Theory, textbook bite, weather and setup this morning. I’ve thrown a Trip for a minute, it was nice to finally get one to go today. Chomp, chomp…. @badnewsbass@illudebaits
To catch a solid fish in a month I usually don’t catch anything, was rewarding on many levels. I attribute it to throwing a glide more this year. She went 5lbs 4ozs on the scale, got her released, now on to the next. 🤘🤙

Getting the fish to the scale and taking a video of you weighing the fish seems pretty easy, not.
When it’s running through you even the simplest of tasks seem impossible.
✅ This fish marks my first entry into a Pizz tournament, which makes it the best almost 4lber I’ve ever caught. 🤙🤙
Ran into a school of carp tonight on the CA Delta. I’ve honestly never seen this many grouped together out here. No doubt they have been cleaning out the bass beds, and the eggs that were left behind. Lower tide on the walk in 1.5 hours later, all of them gone. 🤘🤙
Broke the scale in a fuss, I guess she wanted her picture taken . 🔫 Gill gets bit, it’s nice to see them engage from a distance with no doubt it’s going to get eaten. 🔥🤙
Do you crank your rats down? We all love top water blows ups but there’s definitely a bite subsurface for rats.
The Illude Rad’s have a very erratic swim when they get cranked down, zero doubt it triggered the bite today. Give it a try if you haven’t. 🤙💥
The Wade Hoggs for me has been that bait that I’ve tried so hard to get bit on, but couldn’t. Two+ years in the making, it was nice to get bit on back to back casts. Monkeys 🐵 off my back finally. This was the biggest of the two.
