After months of warehouses, secret locations, and late-night sessions across the city, FENDER BENDER returns to the club at XoX for the first time since November.
BOUNCE is FENDER BENDER’s club-focused concept bringing high-energy underground dance music to an intimate setting.

A rave for the qts. Styled in the ethos of 90s club kid culture, curfew is about embracing queer expression, gender chaos, energetic dance floors and freedom. Expect house, techno and genrefluid sets from local and guest djs, as well as pop up stunts from drag/performing artists. Come to dance. Come to make out. Serve. Slay. Repeat. Spatial Awareness is excited to welcome one of Philadelphia’s most prominent standout and forward-thinking DJs, Low Iron, to the Sound Lounge this week for a special 3-hour set.
Low Iron is a Philadelphia bred and based DJ, organizer, and community creator. Shaped by and currently shaping the city’s club music and block party culture, they bring a deep respect for local dance music traditions and the communities that have influenced her, earning a reputation as both a trusted selector and a progressive and dependable collaborator within the Philly underground.
Low Iron began DJing publicly in 2021 with encouragement from friends and support from organizations like Vinyl Tap 215 and the community around WKDU. What started as a personal practice for her quickly grew into creating space for collective building on the dancefloor.
Beyond the club, Low Iron is committed to making DJ culture accessible to all ages. In 2023 she became a Free Library approved performer, hosting hip hop and DJ programs for youth and community members across their Philadelphia branches.
In 2022, she co-founded the regular occurring party Bass Down Low. Since then, the series has hosted a growing network of DJs and performers and has platformed legends like Rod Lee. Be sure to catch the next Bass Down Low lineup for Public Access on March 21 at a secret location TBA.

Music is 9-12. No food after 9, so come early if you want to eat. Door is a suggested sliding-scale donation of $5-10, or pay what you can. All funds go to the artist and promoters.
