XR at Crossroads Hotel sees the pizza box as a canvas. Local artist Brandon Epstein made it so. The result: a limited-edition box made for our hearth-fired pies - art you can carry out the door. 🍕✨
Inspiration from the artist: “This pizza box is about what makes our home special. The attending of a community gathering exclusively admissioned by tickets made of the love we are able to generate in the life around us, and how lucky we are at this current crossroads in human history to have neighbors and friends and people w/ open hearts and minds, and a reminder to celebrate that reality we find most consensus in.”
@lovespac3 is a multi disciplinary visionary artist from Kansas City whose wide-randing work explores creativity as a pathway to discovering one’s own soul.
The back of each box hosts a poem by the artist: You are a creative intimate animated instrument played infinite, you’re doing it, don’t ever quit, you made it here, you’re spirits lit, don’t you know you’re fortunate, of course it fits like tailored mitts, your garments knit with angel grit, take a sip and share a slice, break the ice, because real paradise is priceless, remember life is in the heart man, this is the heartland land, do your part man, prayer hands, the dare stands keep dreaming.
