This is what I mean: she like a stray dog was guided exclusively by herself. I too, from one failure to the next have reduced myself to myself but at least I want to encounter the world and its God. Passion For The Void, written and directed by Mia Daniela Alejo. Inspired by the myth of Sisyphus and Clarice Lispector’s last novel, “The Hour of the Star.” Starring Chloe Whitehead & Jack Maricle. @glolikechlo & @jackmaricle Producer… Spencer Milligan & I, @spencermilligan Cinematographer…Karson Kane, @karson.kane 1st AC…. Abigail Jue, @abigail_jue 2nd AC… Matty Barrett, @mbars20 Production Designer… Addisyn Hibdon, @addisynj Editor… Parker Howard, @parkerhhoward Colorist… Karson Kane, @karson.kane Composer… Jeremy Kern, @jeremykernmusic I'm sure of one thing: this narrative will deal with something delicate: the creation of a whole person who surely is as alive as I am. Available to watch now on YouTube (in 4k) for a limited time.

“Write to Exist: An Exploration into Austin’s Graffiti Scene” will be premiering at the 18th annual National Film Festival for Talented Youth in Seattle, WA. Thank you to the wonderful participants, crew, and NFFTY for giving us a platform to showcase this documentary. Three graffiti writers in Austin, Texas, share a common goal: to mark as many walls, buildings, ditches, and underpasses as possible with their chosen aliases in multi-colored aerosol paint. Through the voices of DELTACO, I LOVE YOU, and KARMA, we gain insight into how, beneath the surface of vandalism, graffiti emerges as an underground art form. Director: Mia D. Alejo Cinematographer & Editor: Nick Stoner, @stoner.video Sound Mixer & Sound Designer: Xayda Garza Composer: Moxy Screening Sunday, April 6 at 3:45 at SIFF Cinema.

Farmer’s Wife’s Swarm is out. This marks the second collaboration between the coolest band from Austin and I. Our first video being my directorial debut - a skeleton crew production with a $50 budget, the infamous song streamed by millions - Greg Abbott’s Maxi Pad. Little did I know we would be making an all-timer. Fast forward over two years later. Here’s this. A haunted vision of pig guts, glitter, and Farmer’s Wife’s twist on Frankenstein in a 100 year old dollhouse. Check out what Flood Magazine has to say about it.

Seattle with Liam and Molly. We were nominated for Best Music Video. It felt really good. We had a great time exploring the city and watching a lot of cool movies made by people our age or even younger. @nfftyfilm thanks so very much. This (!!!) award-nominated music video is screening tomorrow in Los Angeles alongside other projects made by University of Texas at Austin alumni, hosted by @echeverriaander . Always grateful to showcase and discuss my work *(╹◡╹)♡**:.。. .。.:*・゜゚・*

Write to Exist is officially on YouTube..!!! Thank you KARMA, I LOVE YOU and DELTACO for letting us stand in your light. Thank you to my skeleton crew of Nick @stoner.video and Xayda. Thank you to @nfftyfilm for hosting our world premiere exactly 1 year ago! One night we sat at the train tracks for 3 hours waiting for the perfect shot. It didn’t matter. It felt good to be a part of something secret, like we knew what was behind the curtain of the big bright letters that dominated Austin walls. And now its on Youtube just for you. Please enjoy online RIGHT NOW (in 4k) and give me your earnest thoughts. Every day is a blessing. Thanks.....!!

That night, I had a dream I lived in an alternative universe where I had to hunt and eat Pegasi, and everyone knows I love horses. The rest of my dream was spent speaking to Jamie Stewart of Xiu Xiu. He told me to forgive myself.

I’m screening a double-feature of my first born short film, Teeth of A Fawn, and my love child, Passion For the Void. Nov 16th, 6pm, message me. Isolated in a motel room, a woman’s obsession deepens as her lover grows entangled with the wealthy patron funding their lifestyle, haunting her with fevered visions of erotic torment. Teeth of A Fawn debuted at academic knifepoint, the only time I’ve watched it in the presence of others. Join us for the second ever audience showing. Call this a screening, or a second round of exposure therapy. Your choice. This movie was cursed. The editor I had on this project admitted himself to a mental hospital 2 weeks into post. We got kicked out of our sole set location, a shitty motel on Lamar I had already paid in full. I broke up with my girlfriend 4 days before shooting. When finalizing the shot list, I developed a knot in my neck that made me incapable of moving my head to the right. In my desperate agony to relieve it, I blindly, accidentally went to an erotic massage parlor. The knot in my neck remained. Whatever. I was just so happy to be making a movie. Here I am in my naive glory. Message me. Take me as I am. I forgive you.
