#update 05/17/26 owner found. Proof of ownership provided and it’s enough. They agreed and welcomed the help in providing him vet care, including sterilization. His name is Gucci and he is 14 years old. They also provided me their veterinary office information. Will reunite shortly.
Found dog today, 05/16/26 in Compton at the UPS HUB …not neutered or microchipped. Proof of ownership required. If this is your dog, or someone you know and you simply do not want him anymore, this wasn’t the way to go, but please dm to coordinate signature on owner surrender forms. If you own this dog, want him but can’t afford veterinary care, please also dm me, we will happily help cover & reunite you with your pet.

🚨NEVADA HOARDING CASE PUPPIES & MAMA🚨FOSTER HOMES/RESCUE GROUPS NEEDED!
It’s been 2 weeks since we couldn’t bear to leave Mama and her 7 puppies behind. We saw how dehydrated they were & knew they wouldn’t last long. Another litter of pups had died just a couple months ago. We had rescues that were interested, but finding fosters was so hard— maybe because people didn’t know what to expect?
But now we know…this is one resilient and absolutely AMAZING family! Pups tested giardia and parvo negative, eating well on their own, and doing ALL the things that PUPPIES do! And mama— born on that horrid property—she is adjusting well to a home and is so smart. And so today, we introduce you to MAMA BONNIE AND THE TOY STORY LITTER!

Moonbeam is... home. 🏡💗
From the very beginning, there was something magical about this girl.
The way she looked at people with those bright, thoughtful eyes like she understood more than she let on. Her quiet confidence. Her adventurous spirit. Her silly Husky opinions. The way she brought a huge community of humans together to rally behind the same shelter dog.
Moonbeam reminded so many of us why we do this work.
As a DIESEL Project dog, she gave people the chance to see what happens when shelter dogs are given time, guidance, and the opportunity to learn outside the chaos of the kennel. With the help of trainer @robertvillaneda , our incredible @lbanimalcare DIESEL Project volunteers, and every single person who shared her story, and rooted for her… Moonbeam reminded us that overwhelmed shelter dogs can blossom. That sometimes all they need is the chance to reset, feel understood, and be seen.
This community showed up for Moonbeam over and over again.
We watched her learn, grow, trust, explore, and slowly step into the incredible dog she was always meant to be. We all fell in love with her. We celebrated every little win. And now… we get to watch her at home.
Moonbeam’s next chapter starts now. New adventures. New favorite nap spots. Lots of belly scratches. A family who gets to wake up every day and love her.
What a lucky, lucky world that is.
To our sweet girl, thank you for letting us be part of your story. Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for never giving up. Thank you for reminding people that shelter dogs are so much more than their hardest moments.

Can we just take a moment today to appreciate this perfect tiny creature?
Bean is beyond magical. He’s pocket sized for sure, sweet as can be, with an amazing energy…he is a real piece of heaven on earth. Exudes joy, you simply cannot help but feel happy around him.
His presence brings peace, love and happiness. Whoever adopts this extra special boy will be so incredibly lucky.

Update on fwy off ramp pups
This story is a lot to unpack, so I tried to break it down as simply as I can and focusing on the main points that matter.
These dogs are in a very unsafe place and they’re going to get hit and killed.
Plot twist. There are four left. Not two. Two had been missing for several days, but they’ve since been spotted.

I don't know how people see these dogs and don't think this is urgent
These are our dogs. These are LA dogs, Riverside dogs, dogs who didn't deserve this fate. This isn't rescue. This isn't even living. They're barely surviving each and every day. Food and water is never going to be enough. It's the bare minimum. These dogs need REAL URGENT HELP. We have made the 7 hour round trip 3 times and have removed animals because no one is coming. Animal control has been to this property 4 times. Not a single dog removed. The only thanks I have is for the rescues who have stepped up for a few of the dogs but there's still 20. 20 dogs sitting in the Nevada desert with little shade, no enrichment, and very little care. The neighbors have truly helped so much with trying to keep this situation in wraps and make sure the dogs are getting basic Necessities but surviving isn't and will never be thriving. These dogs need help. Real help. Medical help. Training support. Loving and compassionate homes.

Opal has a mass the size of a softball and is sitting in the Nevada desert suffering
This is a prime example of saved not equaling safe. There are worst things than death and Opal is living it every day until shes rescued. She needs a foster. She needs a rescue. She needs a medical sponsor.
