A little insight into my sketch bookā¦ you can thank my new scanner.
Iām really enjoying using good ole pen n paper after years of trying to make āperfectā drawings on my iPad. It means I can quickly get ideas out of my head without worrying too much about the final piece and I feel like itās helping me develop ideas in a different way - itās like an exterior extension to my brain š¤Ŗ
Also thought it was nice to add in the gorg views around my home into the mix cos I really do think theyāve been helping me feel creative again!
Where my messy girls at? Hands up if you relate š

Itās fun thinking about how my work has evolved and I feel like itās really gone full circle in the past 10 years. Looking forward to having a bit more time to paint and focus on my practice in the coming months š
Having a really nice time drawing in my sketch book at the minute - I used to be such a little sketchbook slut pre iPad so itās nice to revisit.
After years and years of relying pretty heavily on my iPad to plan and create stuff itās been so lush just taking my time with a pencil and pens, making mistakes and problem solving instead of just quickly being able to undo a mark.
Itās also been really fun to take a bit of a step back and not focus so heavily on creating a finished piece but playing with shapes and form and just getting whateverās in my head onto a bit of paper (even if itās 48 hours obsessing over breast milk š¦)
Hoping you enjoy seeing a little more imperfect work and ideas as itās something Iād like to utilise a bit more this year!
