Aeos is a lamp that can be changed in brightness and colour temperature. A dynamic mode adapts the light intensity and colour to local daytime and the environments brightness. With this adaptability aeos is not limited to specific locations. A battery allows a transfer from workplaces to living areas or bedrooms. By focusing on a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI) and a broad colour temperature spectrum the dimming curves and built-in programs were adapted to the human perception of light. Aeos can be controlled through the built in touch-interface or the Aeos-app.

Next up @tame.labs I’ve been working on a lab concept for a while to further explore the field of AI interaction design in both software and hardware (and to share work from the past year). The idea is that the lab operates in a hybrid manner, a space to work on both independent projects, as well as for clients. There is no master plan, only a direction but it feels exciting. More to come soon, in the meantime feel free to follow @tame.labs

Making of β€” Silicon Collection (read more) This was a special collection for us. We set out to create a series of images for designers that like to think the future and show their work in unusual ways. It was also our first collaboration: we partner with Tame Labs (@louiegavin ) to helps us design and build the speculative devices. Most importantly, we wanted to have some fun: referencing sci-fi classics; trying out new form factors; playing with materials we like; thinking of how technology will influence our interaction with screens. After coming up with a little family of devices, we started designing and prototyping them: folding paper, sawing aluminum profiles, laser cutting acrylic, spraying and sanding, to then spray and sand again. Some became complex engineered pieces with interesting mechanical systems, others just simple pieces of engraved acrylic. Nonetheless, all were done with the same enthusiasm and joy, passed through the hands of our fantastic models/friends, and crossed Berlin back and forth in Louie’s loyal acrylic box. Most devices made it into the final photoshoot and were then turned into easy to use mockups, so you could use them to tell your stories and make your ideas that tad bit more tangible. We have more in the pipeline so be sure to follow us and stay tuned for our next flagship collections. Next Up, Silicon Collection - Axis Display The Axis is a fictional display with a slim screen supported by a sturdy, all-aluminum stand. All connections are seamless and exceptionally robust, ensuring a stable and reliable display. Additionally, it offers adjustable height and screen tilt for optimal viewing and interaction.
