Louis Eisner: Frog Dish, 2025
Introducing an edition of 8 patinated bronze bowls by the NY-based artist—now on Platform. Frog Dish serves as a functional extension of Eisner’s sculpture practice and can be used as an art object, incense burner, soap dish or receptacle for small items. It was cast in solid bronze in New York through the lost wax method; each one is engraved with the artist’s signature and comes in a hand-painted collector’s box.

Winter Street Gallery is pleased to present 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢 𝘯𝘰𝘯 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘢, a solo exhibition of new paintings and sculptures by Louis Eisner. On view from July 12 through August 11, this body of work embraces contrarian and oppositional elements as a central theme. Contrasting fundamentals — land and sea, light and dark — are foregrounded in a bold set of works that resonate beyond their immediate subjects to enter the realm of abstraction, surrealism, and irreverence.
