My final viscri painting. This is the house we stayed in #viscri63 . These incredible saxon/ german villages, communities here since the 12th century, were deserted after the post-communist exodus, and the dwindling, hard working community that has remained seems to be doing its very best to survive what seems to be ongoing one way migration. I highly recommend a visit.

Occasionally as a pleinair painter, people look at your painting and ask what you're painting. I try to smile rather than roll my eyes. This time if anyone had, it would have been justified. Can you tell without scrolling?
