Thrilled to share that the bunny has been FOUND! A 6-year-old in Canada happened to have this stuffy, and wants to give it to the little girl who lost hers in the fire. She also wants to be her pen pal!
This community we’ve built is so special - we couldn’t do any of this without all of YOU! ❤️
This @squishmallows was destroyed in the Palisades fire last year. This “Bubbles Bunny Easter Plush”, is 10 inches long and was purchased several years ago.
The bunny’s 7-year-old owner has been missing her greatly. Her mom shared that her daughter recently began talking about the things she misses that were lost in the fire. Let’s get this precious bunny back to her!
We’re thrilled to share that this bunny has been FOUND! One of our followers had the stuffy in her home and was willing to donate it to the family. There is so much beauty and generosity in our community - we are so grateful. ❤️
URGENTLY NEEDED - Child is in the hospital!
The brand of this bunny is North American Bear Company 🐻❤️
Note from mom: “Hoping one of you can help! My special needs son is in the ICU at Columbia Presbyterian and they accidentally threw his “bunny” down the industrial laundry chute last night and it’s gone. He’s devastated. He’s had it for 21 years.
Hoping one of you has this bunny in your home or maybe knows of a larger venue to share this with so we can get him a replacement and fast!”
Please help us find Bun Bun! This little girl is missing him terribly after he was lost while traveling out of the storm path of Hurricane Helene.
Note from mom: “I do not known the brand. But it is very soft, has long ears and very long legs with giant feet. It may be from Europe or the UK. Her great grandma passed away just before the bunny went missing so it’s an extra painful loss!”
We’re devastated watching events unfold in Minneapolis and around the country. There is nothing acceptable about children and families losing their sense of safety. For the past year, we’ve supported kids and families coping with unimaginable disasters. These latest events remind us that trauma takes many forms. In moments of sudden change or disruption, children rely on the things that help them cope. If you know of a child who has lost a comfort item during or following a traumatic experience, sudden displacement, or forced move, please reach out.
Lost Stuffy Project exists to help restore comfort and a sense of safety where it’s been taken away.
Now more than ever, comfort matters. Lost Stuffy Project is here to help. ❤️
Desperately searching for a @jellycat Timmy Turtle - this turtle was the absolute favorite of a little girl when it was lost in her family’s house fire.🐢❤️
