Introducing @mpathydnb a producer who really is a gem in the diadem of D&B. Originally from the UK, and now residing in Vienna, he’s a producer and DJ who’s spent more than 15 years honing his craft to a fine point. The craft in question is high-quality, stripped back yet potent minimal D&B (as well as a few other tasteful stops on the electronic music express). His output speaks for itself really, championing that sweet spot between dark and rolling, with the occasional excursion to deep stepper territory, with all of it hallmarked by a veteran producer’s ear for exacting detail It’s that detail orientated that’s seen M:Pathy feature on a host of tastemaker labels; from being one of the original stable of Terabyte records, to Lost Recordings, Engage Audio, Skalator Music and, more recently, Fraktal Sound where his collab with rising star Sequent tore up the Beatport charts. As well as putting in serious work on the buttons, M:Pathy is a force to be reckoned with on the decks, with the skill and dedication you only get from ruthlessly holding it down since day. M:Pathy has, to date, demolished dancefloors across the world, from the UK, to the Netherlands, Lebanon, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Romania and Portugal. He also co-founded and ran Birmingham’s seminal Origins night alongside bookings that have seen him support the likes of Skeptical, Dillinja, Ulterior Motive, dBridge, Fre4knc, Break, Xtrah and many many more. All told, he’s a scene veteran with the scars and medals to prove it.
