Throwing it back to last Nov, and posting some pics of this mural! (finally)
The living mural project ran by @wild_belfast was wonderful to be a part of and I hope you go check out the work they're doing throughout the year!! Every person involved in the project was so fantastic and the passion for conserving nature and making a change at a local level was really inspiring :)
Each mural incorporated features for amber/red listed species to nest and live in! Within this mural there were eight woodcrete bird boxes placed throughout it. Which will hopefully house the amber listed House sparrows and might even be hosting some starlings too!
The community here has developed a beautiful alleyway, filled with plants and life! The aim for the mural was to compliment the neighbouring growth and reflect the wonderful community they have all developed, all while promoting house sparrows and celebrating nature
A small workshop with the community was held before the mural design and the phrase 'singing wall' came up often during the workshop. So we decided to focus on house sparrows for this design and feature some homes so they can bring their song to the area
The highlighted house sparrows were positioned facing each other to symbolize a sense of community with the quote “The flowers that bloom tomorrow are the seeds you planted today” as a final detail to summarise the theme of the project, and the community development in the area
It was my first time painting something this scale, and the weather really put it to the test! Sun, snow, storms and plenty of rain! But I really loved it all and I’m super grateful to have been a part of it
Big shout outs to @outlinesbelfast & @graffcityuk for the paint! And Wild Belfast for keeping me caffeinated with @dripbelfast delicious coffees many a cold morning! And @danielabalmaverdeart for helping me prime this wall, lots of advice and support!! 💖

We’re thrilled to welcome our Artist in Residence, the wildly talented Rhea Hanlon (@lost___lines ), alongside our new Associate Artists, @bombay_dance_club
Inspired by nature and the outdoors, Rhea’s playful work across digital, traditional and street art encourages kindness, connection and creativity. This year, she’ll be bringing our ELEMENTAL theme to life through bold sculptural creations full of colour, texture and energy.
Joining her are Bournemouth-based duo Sona and Shweta of @bombay_dance_club , whose joyful and inclusive Bollywood dance experiences have been getting audiences moving across the UK. Expect a brand new ELEMENTAL-inspired performance and plenty of chances to dance with them along the way.

This crew were designed for packaging and stickers! Revising Ear Gears logo, branding and packaging to present their ear gear pieces and send out with orders too!:)

As a person who befriended a lot of pigeons in the garden during lockdown/covid, I thought i'd use that time as inspo for this piece but give it more of a seaside vibe. A girl and all her sea bird pals, enjoying the cold sea air while of course having a big mug of steamy tea!

Back in December I was delighted to paint a tail as a part of the project. They were placed around Bournemouth, Poole & Christchurch along with lots of other amazing tails earlier this year!
The project is to raise awareness and funds for @juliashousechildrenshospice and support the important work they do!

It was lovely to see the public's reaction to the project and get to meet a few passers-by when visiting the sculpture in Bournemouth Square!!
