I was working on some Cherry Blossom inspired art then I started thinking about Óscar Romero and how much I would love for everyone to know who he was.
I am incredibly shåd03dáN3d on here🙄and have to be strategic with how I post and what I say.
Oscar Romero cared deeply about the poor, and protected human rights. He opposed the military aid the US provided during the Salvadoran Civil War which led to him getting assassinated during mass on March 24, 1980.
I was baptized in a catholic church in my parent’s hometown when I was young and am no longer religious but I will always celebrate Saint Romero, because he cared and spoke up for those who didn’t have a voice💞
