The mask fundraiser at Museum of Art Fort Collins is in full swing. My donation this year is a figure that has a basket of masks that I made that can be put on the sculpture. It is definitely an interactive work of art! If you’ve ever wanted one of my pieces, you’ll never find a better deal. Here’s the link to bid! /moafc/masks-2026/auction/item/180688

"My wish for you is that you continue. Continue to be who and how you are, to astonish a mean world with your acts of kindness." Maya Angelou Thank you Carol Ann Hixon for this quote 💕 which inspired the painting. This month has been filled with personal and collective grief. My mom died a week ago. I feel disoriented and lost, and at times I don’t know what to do next. The deep collective grief in our country right now is also overwhelming and disorienting. These words from Maya Angelou are exactly what I needed to hear. For now i just need to continue. This is my last painting for #28daysofsendinglove 2026. Adam will post his last one tomorrow. Highest bidder gets the painting and donates the bid to a nonprofit. “Continue” 5 x 5” mixed media on cradled wood.

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” — A.A. Milne 28 days of sending Love February 21 A day and a half ago I said goodbye to my mom. Not “I’ll call you later” or “we’ll be back soon” or “see you in the morning”, but “goodbye” . I’m not really sure i have ever said that to her before. She’s been my most amazing witness, example, advisor, mom, and friend. Her life’s mission was to: “Embrace life with love and laughter and encourage others to do the same.” So I’m embracing life with love and laughter as much as I’m able as I make peace with saying goodbye. Highest bidder donates the bid to their favorite nonprofit and receives this painting . “Making Peace with saying goodbye” 5x5 acrylic on cradled wood.
