I’m honored to share that I’ve been nominated and selected as a finalist for San Diego Magazine’s 2025 Celebrating Women Awards in the Nonprofit Rising Star category.
To be honest, recognition has never been the goal. I’ve never been comfortable in the spotlight….I just believe in doing the work, especially when it’s work that matters. I’ve spent the last few years pouring into my community, often quietly, because I know how it feels to be unheard, unseen, and left behind.
This nomination caught me off guard, but I’m deeply grateful. It reminds me of how far I’ve come and the people who continue to believe in me.

Growing up, I didn’t always make the best choices and wasn’t surrounded by the best circumstances. Looking back now, it’s incredible to see how far I’ve come. I’m not sharing this to boast, but to celebrate transformation, proof that it’s never too late to change your life, find purpose, and make an impact on the next generation of women.
Whether through my lash business, my Southeast Asian-inspired crafts, or our nonprofit supporting young artists, my mission has always been the same: to Empower, Inspire and Uplift while giving back to the community that shaped me.💚
