@andres_bigface is the drummer on the original recording of this track (and Shadows, which we'll add to the set eventually), so getting to bring it to the stage with him for the first time this Thursday feels like a full-circle moment.

This record means so much to me and is a tribute to my late dear friend/bandmate @nolansgardner , who passed away last year suddenly. He got to hear the songs before they were mastered and he was so excited to release them into the world. It only feels fitting to finally do what we had been talking about for months and months. I love and miss you every day my friend. This record wouldn’t be what it is, without your energy, and your musical gift. 💕🫶🏻

They’re excited to be laying down the beginnings of these new songs. This is the first tracking session since Chris & Andrew officially joined the team. Before that, David would hire musicians to bring his songs to life. But now, the trio is doing it all together. A lot to cover today (and David is a slave driver) so fingers crossed they survive.
