Great to be back in mainland and even better to see the potential of the home areas. This upper sector of Tesino is pretty sick and totally different from the “old” one: a nice approch (approx 40’) surrounded by great nature and calm rivers, a lot of high quality granite and shapes. Glad to be able to contribute to the development of it and thanks to @lorenzogris for all the work done!!
Now the range is wider and harder, up to ~ 8a. Psyched for more!

Spent some time in Daone this summer but couldn’t really find a proj that motivated me, but my eyes were constantly looking for new lines and shapes - i guess Sardinia made its own part in this 😅 - until i found this vertical iron with almost nothing on it and fell in love.
It looked pretty challenging, and it was. After a good sesh with @francesco_zandonai where i got really close to sending it, i had to wait until the last day of the trip to climb it.
Def a cool one, i believe its around 8a+ but not sure how it feels with good conditions, anyway can’t wait for a first rep.

PULP FRICTION (FA)
The last project I really wanted to climb was this rig, doing it starting from the ground.
Squeeze as f**k it’s a must to be able to finish it off, since the first few moves are rough but you really need to be precise with that hill.
It was hard to find the perfect moment, but bubbling myself from everything else was key. I’m slowly finding this other deeper and not well considered part of climbing, get that feeling before approaching the boulder and not only in random mode while climbing. I hope to be able to reach that status easier and easier, because as you know it feels amazing and effortless. I’ll keep working hard on that. 😊

It was the last chance to climb the boulder, since in few days I have to leave Sardinia for a couple of months.
