A Bay Area native with over 30 years of professional training and nearly two decades of inspiring students and educators, LoRee brings an incredible depth of knowledge, artistry, and heart to the festival.
From performing professionally with companies, commercial productions, and live bands to mentoring dance educators across the country, LoRee has dedicated her career to building community through dance. Her work with TapIN Youth Dance Ensemble continues to use tap dance as a platform for equity, empowerment, and social impact, something we deeply admire and support.

We’re honored to share that TapIN will be attending the Santana Tap Fest this year in support of a truly meaningful initiative.
The Chloe & Maud Foundation @chloeandmaud is offering a free tap festival for LAUSD elementary students—welcoming dancers of all experience levels. Access like this matters.
Beyond the dancing, they’re investing in the whole child—offering a self-esteem workshop, a film class, and providing snacks, lunch, and water for every participant. It is thoughtful, intentional, and deeply impactful.
This weekend, TapIN will also be delivering hundreds of pairs of donated tap shoes to support their students, along our first annual financial contribution—made possible by the efforts of our ensemble and community. We hope to make many more.
