What an amazing week! Stage win with @bossuyt_shari , 6th in GC with @urskazigart , 1 day in the QOM jersey for @ashleighcycling , 3 days in the white jersey and an 11th spot in GC (1 sec from top 10 🥹) for me
I’m so so proud how we performed as a team! Felt soooo honoured having these amazing bodyguards around me all week 😎
Happy to see myself taking step up in racing up front, positioning, riding in the rain 🫣, and trying to stay calm and saving racing for GC (very hard btw) ☺️☺️
This gives me a lot of motivation to keep on working 🙏

They however do reflect just how hard this edition of the iconic race was! Really love and enjoy racing on these roads 😃

Checklist of my stay in Girona:
~ amazing company (but missing a picture with the most important 😫)
~ bringing up some Australia nostalgia
~ being spoiled by the weather and views
~ chef Alex + cheffing up myself
~ countless amounts of coffee
~ healthy cookies attempts
~ lots of catch ups and meeting new people
~ heaps of riding and unexpected heat training
~ getting used to the ‘chill’ rhythm
~ songs on repeat
~ being Alex’s apprentice
And now most importantly feeling ready and excited for a big block of (hard) racing! 😎⛰️

sadly for us it wasn’t the magical race we hoped and expected due to some very bad luck during the whole race… but quite proud how we were all fully committed as a team 🤝🤍

Season 2025 has come to an end, and what a season has it been…
Summary of the year: pre race training rides, tan lines, long efforts next to the canal, post race pizza, (Ardennes) training rides, bib numbers 13…
but most importantly all of the memories made on and off the bike 🤍🤍
