With the departure of Grand Puba many felt pessimistic about Lord Jamar & Sadat X's decision moving forward and keeping the name. Puba was clearly the lead and creator of their successful sound so how can the 2 underdogs prevail ? "Punks Jump Up To Get Beat Down" was a big "F**k You" to everyone. The duo came back swinging, literally. Sadat opens his verse perfectly an address's the elephant in the room "About The Nubian Reign Had Fallin". And for next 1:15 his pen gives a top tier verse chock full of quotables thats still potent 34 years later. As for Lord Jamar?
