Packed at the studio with care and love.
At SONNEY, everything begins with material.
At the core of my practice lies an ongoing research into transforming the garden hose, developing a unique material language through experimentation.
Alongside this personal research, I love working with artisans whose savoir-faire allows the exploration of new textile illusions inspired by nature, texture and perception.
For FW26, I collaborated with textile artist @julie_percilliertextile and atelier @les.teintures.de.france@by.serge.h to develop new surfaces exploring trompe-l’oeil effects.
Different techniques, but a shared intention:
creating organic textile illusions and expanding the language of material transformation.
Thank you @by.serge.h@les.teintures.de.france and @julie_percilliertextile for this collaboration.
Material research FW26
Made in Paris
For FW26, SONNEY continues to explore its signature material: the garden hose 🤍✨
This season, the material is developed into small circular applications, melted directly onto the fabric to create an organic texture.
The dress is made of a double layer mesh in grey and khaki, allowing the dots to appear subtly through transparency and movement.
Each detail is developed by Lora in the SONNEY atelier in Paris, shaping the material by hand through experimentation.
