Come learn how to carve your own stamps and print on fabric with me. This three part class is held @neighborhoodprintstudio
We will carve, print and stitch into fabric together.
Printing on fabric is a useful skill to create custom garments or design your own household items! The embroidery adds another level of mark making with thread!
We will have a lot of fun exploring the possibilities together.

Thank you to @smithspanier for doing a demo for us today. And to @ruth_mckinney_burket for making it happen. Chilibowl 2026 is coming up on Saturday April 11th @wsworkshop - a brilliant fundraiser in our community. These bowls and so much more will be available for purchase. With all proceeds to benefit Women’s Studio Workshop.
Come meet your friends and neighbors and find your bowl-mate 💕
(I made the bunny bowl with dandelions. Karin made the pony bowl and Jean made the Raccoon! All of the bowls were beautifully thrown by the talented Mary Kastner.)
A few bowls I painted this evening for @wsworkshop ‘s Chili Bowl 2026 fundraiser in April.
Thanks to Mary for throwing these gorgeous low wide bowls that she makes so smooth and are a joy to paint on. Some lovely bowls were decorated today. Wish I had taken more photos. Thanks also to @jeancampbellart for bringing her chicken book to draw from. Wish I had snapped a few photos of her beautiful painting this evening. Can’t wait to see them all at Chilibowl!
Thanks to @flaneurphoto for the cool t-shirt. 💕
Having some fun printing my @funaday_hudsonvalley mini prints on fabric patches. Heat setting this evening. I carved my drawings into @speedball_art Speedycarve. And printed using Versacraft, Mementoluxe and Yellow Owl fabric ink pads. I took a deep dive into experimenting with fabric inks. These are just the quick ones that I love to use because I want to stitch into them right away. If course I can’t wait for the slower drying inks to dry. Must stitch now! LOL
