In this unprecedented time, we want to be clear that The Loppet condemns the ongoing violence, targeted attacks, and intimidation occurring throughout our state. The Loppet remains committed to creating an environment where our values, including anti-racism, inclusion, and wellbeing, are upheld through our programming, events, and activities in and around The Trailhead. More than ever, we believe in the healing power of connecting people to the outdoors and each other and we will continue working to create welcoming spaces and programs.
You will soon see signage in the North, South and Chalet parking lots banning ICE from staging operations in those areas. We thank the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board for taking these steps.
The Loppet stands united with our Minnesota community.

Congratulations to all of the Loppet Cycle Works (LCW) junior athletes who competed in last Sunday's first race of the season! Cyclists took to the trails at the Wisconsin Off-Road Series in Eau Claire. We can't wait to see where the season takes these athletes 🚵♀️🚵
Heads up!
Our Par 3, Disc Golf, Area 36 trails, mtb skills area and lawn spaces surrounding the Trailhead will be closed for habitat restoration chemical spraying on Monday, May 11. This will be an all day closure with plans for all areas to reopen on Tuesday, May 12.
This is part of our process for converting turf grass areas to prairie.
Thanks for your cooperation!
