For this Sunday's session, we have top selector @og_osBrain curating the sample crate. Anyone who's tuned into the 'Adventures of Rich Sounds' show on Voices Radio knows he has a great ear for samples. He's also a member of the trio @FathersOfHouse . They have been getting busy pushing the soulful sound in and around London.
It's going to be a great Sunday in Deptford. It's the Full Bloom festival. 17+ venues are involved, covering music, food, art, workshops, and film. So come and cook some beats in @AajaMusic , then enjoy the creative fruits around the town.
As for the session, for anyone who hasn't joined us before. It's a welcoming space for music producers of all skill levels and genres. If you enjoy making sample based music, bring your groove box, laptop, or sampler. Everyone has 3 hours to cook up a beat from the chosen samples.

He's the founder of @Funky_Adjacent , a dope forward-thinking London based label and event. He also releases bangers on the legendary 'Roska Kicks & Snares'. This crate and session will be big vibes for sure!
For anyone unfamiliar. Just come along with your laptop or beatmaking device of choice. Everyone has 3 hours to make a track using the curated samples, at 6pm we play them all on the sound system. All genres and skill levels are welcome.

The first in a series of collaboration showcases, pulling together some of the UK's finest beat events to join us for our quarterly in-stores at @Planet.Wax .
An all-star lineup representing artists from both camps. Plus, a couple of special guest legends for extra sauce. Expect neck snapping beats from start to finish. There's a lot of pockets bubbling up and down the country at the moment. We're hoping to join some dots, forge some friendships, and collaborations between cities and crews.

Loop Sessions is a global community sample flip challenge, that started in Montréal in 2016 and touched down in London last year. Beatmakers get 3 hours to cook up a track, from the sample material provided, chosen by a guest curator for each event.
It's attracted producers from a wide spectrum of genres, thanks to the UK's rich sampling culture. This in-store focuses on artists from previous sessions, invited down to perform live beat sets (SP404's, MPC's & alike) and DJ sets of their own productions. A journey through experimental beats that you won't hear anywhere else, from Hip Hop, through Experimental Bass music, to House.
