Hi there! I'm Caitlin. Owner and creator for Loop & Leaf. I started crocheting in November of 2024. My first make was a very large, acrylic, alpine stitch blanket (still not done). Crochet immediately became an obsession. My house started bursting at the seams with handmade items, so I started selling them at markets. Right now I pattern test and create functional and fun pieces. I get to use all of my instructional design skills in pattern testing, and I love it. I hope to continue building and growing within the crochet community with designing my own patterns soon. Another freestyle pattern for @crochetbyapryl 's Week 2 Showstopper challenge! To match the showstopper prompts, this little sad puppy eyes guy is low sew. Only the tail and head were sewn to the body. The legs were made in pieces, and worked in rounds. The ears were crocheted into the rows. It's so fun just to experiment with techniques! ☀️CLOSED ☀️ My first official Tester Call!!! You guys, I'm so freaking excited. I've been working hard creating the perfect sized claw machine makes for my summer time markets. And I want to share them with you! My claw machine is the biggest hit at my booth, and I have the best time making little creations that fit the machine, but most importantly, feel substantial. I'm looking for 6-8 testers to work with me on making sure my patterns are in tip top shape. Each pattern takes about 15-20 minutes to whip up and are no sew (with embroidery options). Yarn and hook size are important to guarantee they will work in the claw machine. If you are applying, please make sure that you have a 4 mm hook and a size 5 plush yarn such as Michael's Big Twist Posh Chic or Premier Parfait Chunky.
