Today we're highlighting one of our Texas-based filmmakers, @travisleeratcliff , who has brought to life beautiful stories for local brands such as Pinthouse Brewing and Shotgun Seltzer. His favorite part of the Looma process is the genuine human-centricity of it — every film is grounded in real conversation.
"At their best, those conversations lead to tiny moments where people open up and reveal their most honest selves. They show a little bit of their creative spark and maybe even make themselves vulnerable in unexpected ways. Those are the times when these films transcend the commercial arena and enter the realm of the human."

Today we take you behind the lens of Looma filmmaker @jonah.moshammer . If you've been on our account recently, chances are you've witnessed his creations, like "Imperfections" featuring @ravelandstitchwines winemaker Elizabeth Kester.
"Listening is the key to making a good film. Genuinely listening. When I start the interview process, I generally know what soundbites I'm looking for, but I’m also trying to remain open to following any unplanned narrative threads that present themselves. For the Ravel & Stitch interview, I asked Elizabeth a few questions about the adventurous nature of her wines that didn't quite connect. However, I was able to pick up on her excitement for the imperfections and messiness that makes each wine unique which resulted in a beautiful story. At the end of the day, I enjoy filmmaking because of people like Elizabeth. Filmmaking allows me to meet new people, empathize with their perspective and capture distinctive moments day after day."

Imperfections are to be embraced, not feared, according to @ravelandstitchwines winemaker Elizabeth Kester — they're a key part of creating a unique flavor profile.
