The free support that you can receive in the following three areas are so necessary in helping to navigate the industry and develop the skills to successfully transition into adulthood in a healthy way.
The Entertainment Community Fund’s Looking Ahead program is a national community of professional young performers and families.
It’s free to join. Yes, FREE to join! We learned about this amazing program when Levi was 6 years old. Moreover, through Levi’s @bergenpacpas Community Outreach Programming he has performed at the Actor’s Fund Home with the bergenPACPAS Broadway Youth Ensemble and truly blessed by this experience.
Additionally, through @bwayserves ’ #KidsServe Levi has been able to volunteer and give back through Kid’s Serve Backpack Buddies as well as Broadway Serves’ annual Kids Serve/Looking Ahead community service event too.
The Looking Ahead Program offers the following:
🩵 Counseling Services - Counseling services include individual and family counseling for issues such as anxiety, depression, family challenges and other issues related to adolescent development. The Looking Ahead Program also offers linkage to resources and support groups for youth and parents, as well as mental health and crisis intervention support to productions and unions working with and supporting minor talent.
🩵Education - Participate in educational workshops and individual educational counseling, develop leadership and life skills and explore educational and career options.
🩵 Events - Virtual events are offered nationally for all members. In-person events are held in select states. Events include workshops, classes, community service, movie screenings, amusement park visits and more! Come connect and build friendships in a non-competitive and inclusive environment.

✨Our Sweet Dreams & Cozy Nights Family Day of Service event was a huge success!
On Saturday, November 15 our Chapter House was filled wjth with joy, purpose, and true community spirit. Volunteers of all ages came together to make no-sew blankets and collect new toys + snacks — all for local youth in need.

🫶🏽 Thanksgiving Crafts & Food for the Community 🫶🏽
Once again the Kids Serve program of @bwayserves teamed up with the @lookingaheadprogram for our annual event addressing food insecurity. Between shows on Saturday, kids from @thelionking@stonbroadway@godotbway and Ragtime @lctheater as well as Broadway kid alums and Looking Ahead members decorated placemats for @encorecommunityservices (right in the heart of the Theater District) to make their Thanksgiving meal for neighborhood seniors a bit more festive. They also collected 5 boxes and a reusable bag full of food donations for Encore’s Food Pantry. They learned that giving back can be both rewarding & fun, and even more so with friends!

Walter is one of the most genuine, humble, talented, creative, compassionate and selfless humans I have ever met. Walter is a trailblazer and he reminds us of a young Timothy from the Bible because God truly uses Walter to amplify and exhibit what it means to put God first, what it looks like to walk by faith and not by sight.
