after just a bit more than one year of starting ALMA;RHYTHM, inviting one of our biggest influences and reasons, why this gathering even exists… there’s few words that can explain what we feel.
not just having him over though, but have all you people coming together, and show him that The Hague GOT THE FUNK!? and that we don’t mean no BS on the floor, now that means even more.
there were many moments where we just stood in that smokey, dark and sweaty room, and wanted to shed a tear or two out of happiness and fulfillment.
it means the world to us!
thank you @marcelluspittman for your deep kindness, stories about the “MoonDance” and open mind towards what we do, your trust meant everything.

Last Saturday was an unapologetic night.
A night where nobody gave a fuck in the most beautiful, simple and passionate way.
With backs turned to us, doing their thing. no stupid phones distracting and us together with @capiche.collectiv playing whatever we wanted to hear on the incredible System built by @formfollowsfrequency
From Gospel to Acid to Dub and some Hip Hop.
It’s such a rewarding and beautiful feeling to watch people dance in the rain and for just a brief moment forget everything around and simply BE PRESENT!
Have so many people show up (300 🤯?!), selling out, and feeling as if they understood our message and intentions… is everything we could ever ask for.
This is what makes life special. No money in the world could make us feel this way.
All we need is just a bit more honesty, love and unity, and express that through this shared passion.

This night could have never happened without the amazing help of so many people, which just proves again …. Fuck the DJ !!!!!!! There is so much more to a good party.

Still remembering one of our first soulful club nights out EVER, being a love transmission dancefloor, and having this realisation that dancing and soft and warm music is just as valuable as everything else in a club!
We are grateful for them to come by, and share why they do what they do, and transmit their love across the world with their event series.

What I love about dancefloors is that it holds a beautiful emotional space that is sacred and allows us to feel and move amongst other souls without barriers. This is exactly how I met @lonnyjoco - probably some of the funkiest dudes I’ve ever met and knew I had to be homies with.
Back in June of last year, when Theo Parrish took us on a mf journey on one of the most beautiful days I’ve had in Berlin yet (shout out @an.endless.groove@moe.elamin@__________edo__________ ), I spotted someone with an Attitude, Belief and Determination t-shirt who was dancing harder than most people around him. We later connected and they are for real some of the most passionate peeps I’ve met. They carry this passion in the events they host in The Hague, within their digging nature and just overall genuine personalities.
I am suuuuuuuuuuuuper happy to have them for @sobremesasounds and I love the approach they took. They told me they recorded it coming home after a gig and I’m happy to share it with you all :)

What does going out to mean to you?
Well... for us it is crystal clear; we want more Real Dance. Real Music and a feeling of Real Community in our city!!
Therefore, we are back again and teamed up with @amaredenhaag to present a FREE event on the 8th of May, so we can continue to enter the dance floor consciously and with intention.
The event will start with a FREE hour long House Dance Workshop by @marilva.vsml !! For us all to learn how to connect with the rhythm and understand better what to do on the floor when we feel a bit lost with our limbs.
To top it off we have asked the incredible people behind @formfollowsfrequency , to take care of sound, and bring their custom sound system, to make us all move just even better.
It’ll take place in the foyer of Amare. Kindly PM us to be added to the workshop list.
