Bodies of Algae, ink & acrylic paint, wax pastel on canvas â 100 Ă 70 cm
On the boat, the movement of the water moved through me as much as it animated the algae. Their bodies overlapped, brushed against one another, carried by a continuous flow.
I moved with them, at the same rhythm, with no clear separation between my body and theirs. This painting was born from that sensation: a living, multiple body in motion, moving in unison with the current.
